In commemoration of World Audiologist Day, Listening Lab conducted a session on Automated Auditory Brainstem Response (AABR) for nurses at Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM). The session highlighted AABR’s role in the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening (UNHS) program and demonstrated how Path Medical’s AABR technology allows for faster, more reliable screening of high-risk infants.
Early detection of hearing issues in newborns and young children is crucial for their speech, language, and overall development. During the session, nurses learned how timely screening can help identify potential concerns early, enabling prompt support and intervention. Listening Lab continues to provide infant and child hearing screening services to support healthy auditory development from the very start.
