The Listening Lab Pte Ltd (TLL), a Singapore-based hearing care retail group, is pleased to announce the completion of an asset purchase deal to acquire four hearing centres owned by Newsound Signature Sdn Bhd, a premium hearing care retail chain based on Kuala Lumpur, with effect 1st Jan 2019, at an undisclosed amount. This increases the Listening Lab's Selangor/KL operations from two centres to six centres,that includes a customized mobile hearing centre that provides home hearing services.
Newsound Signature Sdn Bhd has a nine-year history operating a premium hearing care retail business in the Kuala Lumpur region. This represents a substantial expansion of the Listening Lab's footprint in the capital city of Malaysia.
This acquisition takes the number of LL outlets in Singapore and Malaysia to ten, making it the fastest growing hearing retail chain in Singapore and Malaysia in 2018/2019.
